Before your trip
The waiver acknowledges that fly fishing on moving water carries inherent risk, and confirms you've been briefed on our safety program. It's a state requirement for licensed guides and it's how we keep everyone accountable.
How to sign.
- Click the button below to open Smartwaiver in a new tab.
- Fill in your name, email, and date of birth. Add any minors in your party.
- Read the release, sign with your finger or trackpad, submit.
- You'll get a confirmation email — that's it, you're set.
Who signs.
- Every angler. One waiver per person on the trip.
- Minors. A parent or legal guardian signs on behalf of anyone under 18.
- Non-fishing guests. If anyone else will be in the boat or on the water, they sign too.
What we ask about.
- Basic contact info and emergency contact.
- Any medical conditions, allergies, or medications we should know about in case of an incident.
- Swim ability (float trips only — this doesn't change whether you can come, it changes how we brief you).
We treat all information as confidential. It's stored securely inside Smartwaiver under our account. Details in our data & privacy policy.
